Badgemaster, the UK’s largest name badge manufacturer, is celebrating its 20th anniversary in July 2012, and to mark the occasion is offering a 20% discount off list prices for all orders placed by 20th September 2012. Many changes have happened since Badgemaster started trading from a portable cabin in July 1992. Most notably, founders John and Vicky Bancroft have steadily grown their workforce to 88 full‐time staff at the company’s state‐of‐the‐art 12,500 sq. ft. facility in Newstead, Nottinghamshire. The Bancroft’s are delighted that their first employee still remains on the team and this year collects his 20‐year long service award.

DALI Lighting, the supplier of LED lamps, has announced the launch of an innovative new scheme that allows customers to switch from expensive to run halogen lighting to energy efficient, true like‐for‐like equivalent LED replacements, with no upfront costs. Under the ‘Get turned on’ initiative DALI Lighting offers to supply all of the major brand name products such as Philips, Osram, Toshiba, GE products without initial capital outlay. Then, over a period of 12‐18 months the customer makes regular payments to purchase the LED lamps.
