The intelligent system was designed to be fully flexible within the space left by the previous unit, easy to maintain and fun for customers to use. The slow‐closing gravity fed bins are made from lightweight polycarbonate with high‐impact strength and can be easily removed for cleaning and stock counts. The front‐loaded pods allow them to be refilled without being removed from the system.
The system created by SDI was a simple one, which fitted easily into the space that was already there, but gave Vue much more flexibility. It was also bright and eye‐catching, ensuring that customers would be attracted to the display. The Attic Room is a UK‐based retail design company that has developed complete POP solutions for a number of brands. The team has recently been working with one of the UK’s leading skincare brands, Coty owned Philosophy, to create brand new retail areas in department stores across the UK and Ireland.
The retail area, which includes a window display, has been designed to reflect the brand guidelines and other retail sites. Philosophy offers their full range of

products to sell to customers, along with a consultation area for treatments. By creating a full retail space for their brand, Philosophy are able to control how their products are displayed and seen by potential customers. The finished design has been well received by both Coty Prestige and Debenhams. The point of purchase is a brand’s opportunity to show itself off, and attract the attention of customers. Get it right, and retailers are likely to see sales surge.
