driven to western Pennsylvania, where he’ll lecture at a fishing show and help a private club design a fly-fishing chal- lenge course on the Juniata River. After that, he’s headed back to the Bahamas, where he’ll be playing fishing coach to well-heeled vacationers. He turned down another invitation to fish with Brokaw and gang. “A guy called the other day from Flor-


ida,” Kreh says. “He said, ‘I’ve got my chopper here. If you fly in, we’ll pick you up at the airport with it. You can stay on the boat. We’ll get some tarpon in the backcountry. …’ ” But at this age, Kreh doesn’t like to be away from his wife for more than a long weekend, which means he often has to decline such invitations. Kreh is ushered back into a tent,
