LOGLINE
Set in a Florida vacation RV park, a fourteen-year-old outcast seeks the attention of the upper-class
intellectual girl next door while fending off his embarrassingly trashy mother’s over-eager attempts at
reconciliation.
BIO
Danielle Probst is an independent producer and production manager based in Los Angeles. A native of
Washington, DC she lived in Berlin, Germany before earning a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of
Chicago and an MFA from the American Film Institute in 1999. Beginning her career in the art department
of the indy feature On Edge, Probst went on to become Development Director for Leading Pictures and then
moved into network television production for NBC, CBS and the BBC. Probst made her feature producing
debut on the wildly successful, micro-budget romantic comedy directed by Allan Brocka, Eating Out. She
subsequently went on to production manage The Lather Effect, an ensemble comedy that screened in
competition at the 2006 Los Angeles Film Festival; Take, a death penalty drama starring Minnie Driver; and
Red Velvet, a horror fi lm currently in release on DVD. She has also worked on the Weinstein Company’s
ensemble thriller, Unknown; the crime caper, How To Rob A Bank; and the Polish Brothers most recent fi lm,
Stay Cool.
