A comedy set in Texas about a teenage boy who is determined to break the family curse.
BIO
Graciela Muraida-Del Toro started her producing career at NYU as an Associate Producer of the short fi lm
Must Be Love, which was produced as part of a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Award. After graduating
from NYU, she took up residence at Anonymous Content, where she assisted the production of high-end
commercials.
Muraida-Del Toro moved on to the broadcast production department at JWT, where she produced
commercials for clients including Domino's, Schick, T. Rowe Price, Smirnoff, and Pfi zer. She has also
produced a series of short animated interstitial fi lms for the Sundance Channel network based on the poetry
of Billy Collins. The Sundance Channel interstitials have won several industry awards, including a Silver ANDY
Award for Cinema/Animation, and a Silver in Graphic Design for the Art Director's Club.
Muraida-Del Toro’s taste for dark comedy led her to produce 6ft. in 7min., a dark comedy about a boy
whose batteries in his artifi cial heart are about to die. The fi lm screened in over 45 festivals worldwide, and
received nine awards, including the Sloan Production Grant, which made the fi lm's production fi nancially
possible.
Muraida-Del Toro is a freelance producer, and most recently worked in the production department at
WONGDOODY, producing commercial content. In 2008, she produced several scenes from the feature script,
Mullet, in association with Film Independent and writer/director Rafael Del Toro. Currently, she is in early pre-
production on her fi rst feature Mullet. The script received the Richard Vague/Chris Columbus Award, which
has provided pre-production funds for the fi lm.
