Fletcher also said he worked with the contractor to develop efficient O2 and scavenger piping routing, as well as advising on venting and drop locations.


Giving back Stockett and the employees at County Line are serious about being good neighbors to those who live and work nearby – they even held an open house a couple of months after their grand opening.


“We had a big open house in February [2016] to have the community in and tour the hospital to see what we had to offer,” Stockett said. “We provided food

and drinks and had some vendors here and it was just great to get to know those around us.”


And while some new practices are merely fighting to keep their heads above water in the first months of operation, County Line is already looking outside their own operation, establishing relationships with a variety of charitable organizations.


“We also work with the Monmouth County SPCA to provide pro bono dental work for animals who need homes,” he said. “The SPCA brings us patients every month and the animals go back to the shelter with clean teeth and fresh breath, and we hope it helps them get adopted. We give It’s A Ruff Life Animal Rescue a 20% discount on services to help them out too.”


Future focus Already profitable after just eight months, County Line has incredible momentum. Most businesses are touch-and-go in the first few years, but with a large customer base – thanks to Stockett’s previous house- call business, and successful community engagement – the team is looking forward with confidence.


“Equipment-wise, the next thing we’re going to do is an ultrasound machine. Then, we’re probably going to bring in blood machines – probably a chemistry machine and a CBC machine,” Stockett said. “And once I’m to the place where I’m fully booked, we’re definitely of the mind where we could bring in another doctor.”
