Right on Time
Dr. Glen Stockett spent nearly two decades practicing before opening County Line Veterinary Hospital.
If you Google “County Line Veterinary Hospital,” you’ll fi nd it diffi cult to immediately locate the practice of Dr. Glen Stockett. Which makes sense, because there happen to be nine others with similar names all over the country. “It’s a popular name,” Stockett said.
But if you ask the residents of Jackson, N.J., and surrounding towns, they’ll know exactly who you’re talking about. That’s because before he opened up his own practice in December 2015, Stockett served the surrounding community for nearly 20 years.
After that much time, you’d think a man might get stuck in his ways and continue on the path toward a comfortable retirement. After all, Stockett enjoyed his work and served with a wide variety of practitioners around the area. But he saw a need.
“A lot of the other offi ces in town weren’t able to provide the range of services we do here,” he said. “Having state-of-the-art equipment allows us to perform more diffi cult procedures with confi dence so people don’t have to travel 20 miles away to get advanced care.”
But fi rst, he’d need a space to practice. You might think that would be the easy part, but you’d be wrong. >>
