Looking back while we plan the future

As we head into the last quarter of 2016, it’s a good time of year to take a step back and evaluate your situation. For Patterson Veterinary, it’s been a rewarding year of helping practices grow and supporting veterinarians wherever you are in your career.

In this last issue of 2016, we visit Dr. Albert Lopez of Concierge Veterinary Hospital, who grew his mobile practice into a 5,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art clinic.

Next, we have a conversation with Drs. Todd Shockey and J.D. Cunningham of Parkersburg Veterinary Hospital. They highlight how Patterson’s design service helped them open the doors of a new hospital in less than a year .

Then, we head to New Jersey to talk with Dr. Glen Stockett. Patterson helped him design not one, but two practices, after the landlord cancelled plans on the first design.

Our visit with Heartfelt Veterinary Hospital reveals how Dr. Thomas Mackowiak grew his practice and his services by introducing an innovative hydrotherapy treadmill.

Year-end is also a good time to think about the tax advantages of Section 179. Our guest contributor breaks it down for you to help you evaluate if it’s the right time to buy – and gain a tax write-off.

On behalf of all of us at Patterson, we appreciate your partnership. Please reach out to your rep with any year-end questions you may have.
