What to do if the electricity goes off...

1. Check your fuse or breaker box.. 2. Check with your neighbors. Is their power off? If so, have they already reported the outage? 3. Call CEC at 375-4121 or our toll free number 1-800-375-4121 and the trouble will be corrected as soon as possible.

Have your service number, account number, or map location ready. This information helps our dispatchers pin-point the location of your problem. Very valuable if you have multiple accounts.

Connect, Disconnects Not Made On Weekends

Please do not call and request that a connect, disconnect, or reconnect be made from 5:00 p.m. on Friday until 8:00 a.m. Monday, as we do NOT have anyone on duty during that time for that type of work. All connects, disconnects will be made on a Monday through Friday schedule.

2016 - The Year For Geothermal

This could be the most lucrative year ever to install Geothermal in your home or business. With the 30% Federal Tax Credit in its last year, plus the highest Geothermal rebates per ton in Cimarron’s history, this is the year to install Geothermal.

How does the Program work? 1. You have to be a Cimarron Electric Member and your home or business has to be served by us.

2. Your Heat/Air Contractor has to do a Manual J Load Calculation on your home.

3. We have to do a manual inspec- tion of the Geothermal equipment installed.

4. Your Heat/Air Contractor has to identify old equipment replaced

(unless a new home). Your new Geo has to meet minimum specs of 15.9 EER (Full load or 2nd stage) cooling and a 3.3 COP heating. The rebate is a 2 for 1 match up to $1050/ ton. ($700/WFEC & $350 Cimarron Electric)

5. If Replacing an old Geo with a new one, it has to meet a mini- mum efficiency increase of 3.0 EER Cooling and 3.3 COP. The rebate is a 2 to 1 match with $250/ton from WFEC and $125/ton from Cimar- ron Electric.

6. Paperwork and signatures must be completed on a timely basis between Cimarron Electric, our member’s getting the geothermal equipment and the installing con- tractors. It is the best incentives we’ve ever had to get the most efficient heat/air system possible!
