Clothing specialist unveils Autumn/Winter 2020 collection in time for IWA.

T

Winter 20 Country Collection. The herringbone tweed effect and ultra-lightweight water repellent coated waterproofs, together with silicone infused wax cotton waterproofs, hybrid fl eece and quilt combinations, new colour tweeds and ladies moleskin are just some of the additions to the heritage brand’s seasonal collection, resulting in the company’s most extensive offering of country wear to date.

The innovative printed Klinwick herringbone tweed has been developed for Alan Paine. This inventive lightweight, durable fabric features a unique moorland tweed herringbone print whereas the ultra- lightweight Femley waterproofs come in a distinctive woodland dark green print. Both comprise highly twisted melee yarn twill with a waterproof

Another addition to the brand’s performance wear offering is the Chatbourne silicone wax infused cotton. Lightweight and hardwearing, the fabric has the appearance of natural cotton and also features a highly breathable, waterproof membrane. The range also includes an expanded Axford range of tweed effect waterproofs with the addition of a men’s rambler jacket and fi eld coat. All of these pioneering fabrics are lightweight yet durable, waterproof and breathable, designed to provide the wearer with enduring comfort whilst enjoying outdoor pursuits. In tweed there’s new colourways

acorn and lotus in the men’s and ladies perennially popular Combrook range

and vibrant, contemporary colourways introduced in the Surrey tweed offering. The versatile mid-layer is the

cornerstone of layering and with this in mind the new collection boasts a windproof soft-shell mid-layer protective jacket. The ever-expanding men’s and ladies Aylsham fl eece ranges see the addition of a striking charcoal herringbone fl eece. To its range of skirts Alan Paine has added several new styles including a skort. Practical and stylish, it offers the wearer the best of both worlds. Ladies can also expect to see stretch cotton needlecord skinny jeans in a choice of rich seasonal colours and created with movement in mind. Alan Paine will be exhibiting at IWA on stand 4-303.
