Doby-Verrolec
Doby Verrolec has extended its DobyGrip Wire Suspension System with the addition of Wire with Nail Anchor FNA II-OE. The product provides installers with an extremely safe, durable and effi cient method for fi xing into cracked and non-cracked concrete and structures made of solid sand-lime brick, natural stone with a dense structure and pre-stressed hollow-core concrete slabs.
The Wire with Nail Anchor FNA II-OE uses a hammerset installation principle to allow it to expand automatically under load, further reducing installation time of the DobyGrip Wire Suspension System. It is suitable for those looking to suspend any static load including air conditioning systems, ductwork and pipework.
Manufactured from zinc-plated steel, it is ETA approved for use in C12/15 and C50/60 concrete. It is safe for working with loads of up to 50kg when used with DobyGrip DG2 and has a safety factor of a 5:1. It can be supplied loose or pre-attached to the galvanised wire rope and has an extremely short anchor depth that prevents reinforcement hits and ensures a fast, trouble-free installation.

Güntner
Cold rooms with aggressive atmosphere where, for example, foodstuff s are processed and stored, require corrosion- resistant units.
For these applications Güntner has
introduced the Coil Defender, a high-quality but reasonably priced addition to its corrosion protection portfolio in the Compact product line.
The company says that its Coil Defender is a high quality solution for all cases that require a unit with increased corrosion protection and where stainless steel would be over the top. The powder coating, evenly applied to the entire coil, reliably protects the conventional material combination of copper/aluminium from corrosion.
In addition, the powder coating is food-safe and perfectly adds to the HACCP-certifi ed Güntner air coolers. The Coil Defender is a standard option for all air coolers of the Compact product line. Cleaning is also naturally a high priority in the food sector. Those air coolers equipped with the Coil Defender are designed in a way that facilitates cleaning – in addition, the Coil Defender powder coating is resistant to conventional cleaning agents.

HygroMatik
Winter can be a diffi cult time to maintain buildings, particularly when it comes to humidifi ers regulating healthy air for occupants. Andie Chessun, national sales manager for HygroMatik, is sharing some top tips for Indoor Air Quality over the winter months. Keeping occupants safe and healthy is of upmost importance. Therefore to help prevent illnesses, it is crucial that the right humidifi er is specifi ed and installed, and that the system is properly maintained and kept clean. Too little humidity can dry out or infl ame the mucous in the respiratory tract. With more moisture released in the air, occupants are less likely to get fl u, nosebleeds and dry throats for instance. In addition to this, well maintained humidifi ers also help preventing fl aky skin and cracked lips, helping dissolve all of the usual unhealthy symptoms of winter. This is why installing a humidifi cation system, can help achieving a better Indoor Air Quality and minimise the growth of allergenic and pathogenic organisms that causes respiratory problems, infections and dry skin. Since normal water is ordinarily conductive, electrode steam humidifi er systems, such as HygroMatik’s HyLine, CompactLine, and MiniSteam, are ideal when it comes to generating hygienically-clean steam from standard untreated tap water.

Hubbard
Hubbard Systems’ new Scotsman icemaker is a modular cuber that’s designed to fi t in the global 560mm/22inch footprint.
The NW308 is the latest in the NW Series and makes the classic six-sided 12g dice ice cube. It can also be supplied to make the 6g half-dice ice cube. Its space-saving footprint is highlighted by the fact that it vents from the top so it can be built in to tight gaps, with no need for side clearance.
The NW Series uses Scotsman’s vertical evaporator to produce ice, which saves space and delivers high ice production volume and low running costs. The controls and alarms are grouped in a smart panel on the front of the unit and day-to-day maintenance is easy. The NW308 is can produce up to 160kg of ice per day. It is designed to sit on top of an ice storage bin. Hubbard recommends two alternatives – the Scotsman SB193 (capacity of 129kg) or the SB322 (capacity of 168kg). A light on the NW308 control panel indicates when the bin is full.
