BSRIA information manager, Jayne Sunley said: “There has been much heat and noise surrounding Brexit since June last year. On behalf of our members, we have created this easy to use at a glance guide which covers a multitude of Brexit questions.
“From the free movement of EU nationals, visa applications, the impact on skills and t raining and the Supreme Court ruling to a B rexit FAQ, the role of the Department for E xiting the EU, the Canada, Norway and Swiss Model and what happens to EU legislation?” She continued: “Whether the UK adopts a hard, soft or medium, black, white or grey Brexit remains to be seen but, for now, BSRIA i s calling for a clear Brexit agenda, and in e ssence, government must provide a clear a venue for industry.
“Finally, we must not lose sight of the fact that it is crucial that the construction industry’s voice is heard in the Brexit debate.”
Drones could soon be part of every toolkit

onsortiQ, a provider of bespoke drone solutions for businesses believes that drones could soon become a v ital part of every tradesperson’s toolkit.

The report noted that drones aided the trade sector by assisting in inspecting machinery, costing jobs and other practical tasks. As drones become affordable and training m ore widespread, they could soon become part of every tradespersons toolkit.
B eyond being used as a tool for inspection, larger-scale drones fitted with industrial sensors such as laser scanners can collect huge amounts of high-resolution data. This can then be analysed using specialist software and turned into 3D
