THE HVAC & REFRIGERATION SHOW

Industry excited about London venue

2018 HVAC & Refrigeraon Show taking place at London’s ExCel from 2325 January 2018, set to be the best yet, say insiders

The industry has reacted posively to the new name, date and venue for the event formerly known as The ACR Show with a number of exhibitors and sponsors already signed up. Fujitsu, Toshiba Air Condioning, Lordan, Thermonfin, Carrier Rental Systems, Jumo Instruments, Broughton Electro Air Products, First Choice Refrigeraon Spares, Polestar Products, Prihoda UK, Stainless Finishing Soluons, Qingdao TianyiCool Co, Vulkan Industries, Parcel Holders, Green Zone Surveys, Oxford Hardware, Rullion and more, are all excited about the move to London’s ExCeL placing the show in easy reach of big business.

Organiser Datateam Business is pleased to be welcome back Fujitsu, especially as the company has promised an ‘avalanche’ of new products. Product manager Colin Goode tells us: “At the last count there were some 76 new products coming through. Not all of them will make it to the UK but the ones that will make it are being prepped for launch over the coming months.” Highlights include a new circular flow

cassee unit moving on to its VRF systems (already available on the split range); new Floor mounted console VRF indoor units; new compact bulkhead ducted units – VRF and split systems;

new ultracompact JIIIL 2pipe 22, 28 & 33.4kW VRF outdoor units (side discharge fan); new twin fan mini VRF outdoor units with improved performance, connecvity and three phase power models; new ranges of wall mounted splits including R32 models later this year (Fujitsu have been selling R32 models up to 14kW in Aus & NZ for 3 years now); new 20 & 25kW simultaneous mul system outdoor units (twin, triple, quad systems); a new high stac ducted split system; and upgrades to exisng VRF controls together with the launch of new controllers, wireless LAN interfaces & BMS interface opons. “We are currently working on our new 2017/18 catalogue which will incorporate many of these new models, most of which will be displayed on our stand at the 2018 show.” The new catalogue will be ready around May or June of this year. In fact, 2017 promises to be the busiest year Fujitsu has seen for quite a while as far as new products are concerned. “The ‘avalanche’ of new products coming through is partly due to the opening of a new R&D facility in Thailand which has eecvely doubled our R&D capacity since it opened last year,” Colin tells us. Commenng on Fujitsu’s connued support for the HVAC & Refrigeraon Show, he adds: “We exhibited at the 2016 event because we had three mainstream products to launch. With so many more new products scheduled to come through this year, comming to next year’s show was a bit of a “no brainer”. The move back to a London venue was also an added benefit which

we believe will aract higher visitor numbers.” First Choice Refrigeraon Spares

incorporates specialist knowledge of the refrigeraon trade and supplies spare parts and technical informaon for many of the leading brands. It also assists with van stock and ancillary items from the likes of Embraco, Danfoss, Mastercool, Testo and Draper. Commenng on what visitors can expect to see, Steve James, Refrigeraon Manager at First Choice Group said: “The division will be at the 2018 HVAC & Refrigeraon Show to display a range of its most sought aer products including coil cleaning spares, controls, OEM cabinet parts, walkin parts and refrigeraon tools.” A specialist in stainless steel finishing,

new exhibitor Stainless Steel Finishing Soluons has a number of products to suit every applicaon within various industry sectors. General manager, Neil Wall says: “We are really pleased to be exhibing at the HVAC and Refrigeraon Show 2018. We have specialised in this sector for some me now and it’s an excing prospect for us to finally be able to aend a dedicated forum for this market. “We will be providing live

demonstraons throughout the event of the very latest in market leading Stainless Steel Finishing Technology, including Electrolyc Cleaning, Polishing and Etching.” Peter Chitson, sales manager for

Vulkan Industries comments: “As Lokring is a market leader in Cold Pipe Joinng, Vulkan Industries considers the show the best plaorm for networking with

exisng and potenal customers. The show gives us the chance to demonstrate our exisng range of Lokring products as well as our latest innovaons.

“London has always been an area

where hot works is an issue, so the new locaon will bring a whole new audience who will appreciate the benefits of this established technology and its ease of use, we are very much looking forward to the show and the new opportunies that it will undoubtedly bring.” Following its awardwinning success in other service industries, first me exhibitor Parcel Holders is now launching in the HVAC&R sectors. Managing director, Ed Fraser says: “Our super ecient tech service works with our naonal PickUp DropO network of shops  ensuring field engineers get the parts they need faster. Visit us on Stand E38 to chat about how we can save your business me, money and fuel.” Event manager Karena Cooper says:

“We are commied to producing an outstanding, market driven industry event that promotes innovaon and supports industry growth across mulple sectors. Live events give a greater understanding of what people think and which projects they are directly or indirectly involved in. As the UK’s only commercial event, the HVAC & Refrigeraon Show should already be in diary”.
