General Information Media Credentials
Members of the media are encouraged to attend the Annual Meeting to cover the wide array of periodontal health topics that will be presented. Media representatives must be currently employed by an established news outlet and must provide identification before being issued a press pass. Valid forms of identification include a business card, letter of assignment on publication letterhead, or published samples of previous editorial/news work. Registration fees for members of the press will be waived, and credentialed media will be allowed to attend non-ticketed sessions and seminars, space permitting.
The Academy reserves the right to limit the number of press passes issued. For more information or to obtain an application for press credentials, contact Mame Kwayie, public relations manager, at

Member Resource Center
Stop by the Member Resource Center in the Exhibit Hall (Booth #529) to learn about member benefits and exciting AAP strategic initiatives, take a professional headshot, and purchase AAP merchandise.
On-Site Badge Replacement
Registration badges must be worn at all times during the Annual Meeting and are required for access to the Exhibit Hall, courses, and events. There will be a $50 replacement fee for lost badges.
Photography
The AAP reserves the right to photograph or video attendees during the Annual Meeting.

Registration Refunds
Refunds will be granted to registrants who submit written refund requests by Aug. 22, 2017, less a $75 administrative fee. Allow at least 14 business days for refunds to be processed once approved. Requests for refunds will not be accepted in any form after Aug. 22, 2017, or on-site.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle service will be offered to and from the Omni Parker House to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). All other official hotels are within walking distance of the BCEC. See pages 65-66 for hotel information.
Video Recording
Most CE courses at the 2017 Annual Meeting will be video recorded. Refer to Session Categories and Definitions (page 13) for information on sessions that are video recorded.
