GBR with d-PTFE Membranes – Applications and Techniques for Daily Practice

Melle Vroom, DDS, MSc

Today, the Cytoplast™ Technique using d-PTFE membranes for ridge preservation is the standard of care in many specialist practices. Additionally, titanium-reinforced d-PTFE membranes are often required to maintain space in horizontal/vertical ridge augmentations. This presentation will discuss d-PTFE membrane selection and surgical protocols, ranging from ridge preservation to vertical GBR and many defect types in between, with a mind towards the learning curve and improving outcomes in implementing these techniques into daily practice.

Expansion of the Zone of Attached Gingiva for Healthy Implant Abutment Interface using BioXclude®

Amnion-Chorion Membrane

Nicola De Angelis, DDS, DMSc Use of BioXclude®

amnion-chorion allograft represents a major

innovation in periodontal and dental implant surgery as it contains 225+ active biologic proteins including ECM proteins and soluble growth factors. The membrane’s unique biologic and physical properties allow BioXclude to be used in a variety of clinical applications which improve outcomes and patient satisfaction. This lecture will feature the use of BioXclude to expand the zone of attached gingiva for healthy implant abutment interface with results from a clinical case series.

Pro Arch: The Conventional and the

Digital Approach Jeffrey Ganeles, DMD

Patients have placed an emphasis on immediate results and often request full-arch solutions with shortened treatment times and fewer appointments. While the process is complex, with meticulous planning, interdisciplinary coordination, and precise execution, these procedures have demonstrated high implant and prosthesis survival rates. This session will demonstrate how these cases can be gratifying “home runs” for patients and their providers in terms of patient satisfaction and treatment efficiency, using either traditional or digital treatment workflows.

A Paradigm Shift for Fixed Full-Arch, Implant- Supported Restorations

Robert del Castillo, DMD

The most technically challenging and expensive prosthetic reconstruction for both the mandibular and maxillary arches is the full-arch, implant-supported fixed prosthesis. For the average clinician, this treatment option is very demanding, complex and time consuming. In addition, the procedure is often unaffordable for the average patient.

This presentation will highlight Zest Dental Solutions’ latest treatment option - the LOCATOR F-Tx®

Fixed Attachment

System, a system that requires no screws and no cement simplifying the restorative technique and minimizing chair time for the restorative team, with less complications and treatment delays.

Lasso GBR: Rationale & Technique Rodrigo Neiva, DDS, MS

Regeneration of lost alveolar ridge anatomy can be accomplished with a variety of graft material combinations and techniques. Expected outcomes will be discussed. A technique aimed at not only optimizing alveolar ridge volume, but also tissue quality, will be presented together with long- term outcomes.
