Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 Clinical and Basic Science Symposium Sponsored by District 8


8–11 a.m. All registered participants are welcome to attend.


Periodontics residents from the Veterans Administration, Army, Air Force, and Navy will provide 10-minute presentations on their clinical and basic science research. The presentations cover a wide variety of clinical and basic science topics that advance the biologic rationale for contemporary therapies, and suggest innovative methods for next generation treatment. This seminar includes a diverse set of study types: in-vitro studies, animal models, surveys, and randomized controlled clinical trials. Each speaker will have five minutes to answer questions following the presentation.
