55 Day. French Filet. 2012 Bean of Te Year. Tis bean is a nice dark green color. It is a very early bean that has a higher yield with very good taste. Te beans should be picked when the pods are about the diameter of a pencil. Tey are easily picked because they are born at the top of sturdy bushes. Excellent for fresh eating as uncut pods, but can be used for canning and freezing.

58 Day. French Filet. A very dark green bean that is high yielding. Te 6" pods are round, slim and hold well to maturity. Te plants continue to set pods as long as the beans are harvested as they mature. It has good disease resistance to rust, some races of Halo Blight and Curly Top Blight. White seeded.

60 Day. French Filet. Perhaps the best-eating green bean, fresh or frozen. Vigor- ous vines produce loads of extra-long pods to over 11" long. Classic French Filet beans usually have a string and must be harvest- ed young. Recent developments have eliminated the string in most va- rieties. For best flavor, harvest very young – under ¼" thick. Packets contain 1½ ounces, unless otherwise stated.

Stringless pods have a consistent deep green color and are slow to develop seeds. Compact plants with strong, upright branches and good disease resistance.
