have proven results and because thematerials aremade in conjunctionwith the curing system the company hasmultiple testing results proving that thematerials and equipment doeswhat it is supposed to do to the quality it ismeant to.
PBF is currently impregnating approximately 2,500m/monthwhich are being installed on various contracts for users in the UK,mostly on water companyworks and to date there have been have had zero liner failures and no breakdowns due to equipment other than one breakdown thatwas due to a user error, but this was in the early stages of the systemroll-out in the UK andwas due to incorrect daily maintenance.
The equipment is highly portable and easy to operate and has built-in protocol recorderswhich monitor everything fromimpregnation at the liner facilitywhich records, resin temperatures, vacuumpressure, roller gap, roller speed, resin quantity, batch numbers date and time. The curing equipmentmonitors and records, curing

speed, pressure, temperature and power consumption, all this information can be provided to the client to demonstrate the entire process. All of this information helps to reduce failure and increases contractor accountability.
PBF can supply both the felt inversion liners and the glass liners both impregnatedwith its patented styrene-free vinylester resins, both types can only be cured using PBF’s own system working at 450 nm(nanometre)wave length which is proven to be themost efficient light wavelength.
All operatorswill get either up to 2week’s training and certification, thismeans that every user knows the systemandmaintenance requirements.
ProKASRO– ProKASRO has been producing its KASRO UV curing systems since 2003 for the ins- tallation of CIPP pipe liners in an efficient manner. The KASRO UV CCU is applicable to pipe diameters fromDN150 to DN1200 and is availablewith a curing cable length from200 to

240m. The equipment is highlymobile, compact and equippedwith fourwheels so that pipeline rehabilitation can be operatedwithin the narrowest of streets. The systemoperates as a complete control unit above an electrically- driven cable drumwith the operation, display and datalogging being carried out via a 21 in (530mm) Touchscreen PC. The systems can be installed in a vehicle and is inclusive of a device for telemaintenance via remote control. The KASRO light sources available include: 8 x 400W; 8 x 600Wand 8 x 1000W.
The KASRO UV control unit PROFESSIONAL is built into a vehicle and offers:
■ Amains adapter for power supply to the 8 x 400W/ 600W/ 1000Wlight systems as
well as for the 12 x 1000Wlight source for DN1500 pipes (automatic switching between the respective UV light sources is possible)
■ display and recording of the camera image ■ WIN TV for video files recording including
