University-Level Course Guide | Useful Information
Entry Requirements
To study on most of our HE programmes you will need the following entry requirements. However, in the case of mature entrants, we may take into account relevant employment experience.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent1
Plus one of the following:
• 56 UCAS tariff points (minimum) from AS, A2, BTEC, AVCE or GNVQ programmes, or subject specific diplomas. Visit
www.ucas.com to calculate your points
• Appropriate NVQ at Level 3 • Access to HE • Qualification deemed equivalent to the above

Tuition Fees
The annual fees for our HE programmes in 2017/18 are listed below. Access to HE £3,0002 Certificate in Education £2,950 HNC full-time £6,950 / part-time £3,835 CIPD £1,987 Full-time Foundation Degree £6,900 Part-time Foundation Degree £3,835
BA Honours Degree £2,875 Please note that if you are progressing to study at Plymouth University after successfully completing a course at the college, the fees for the programme you are progressing to will be different from your college course fees. Please check with the University for up-to- date fees for the programme you are interested in and also information about University accommodation if required.
How Do I Apply?
If you are applying to Petroc as well as other HE institutions, go to
www.ucas.co.uk. You will need the institution code name ‘PETRO’, institution code ‘P51’ and the course code.
Alternatively, if you are only applying for courses facilitated by Petroc, you can now do so through our website.
