You will study a range of modules, including Design Principles, Health & Safety, CAD and Production Management.
Assessment is based on completed assignments and there are no exams.
Progression
Successful students from this course have progressed on to further Higher Education study to gain degrees within the construction environment at Plymouth, UWE and Cardiff University.

in Electronics Awarding Body: Plymouth University
This course aims to meet employers’ needs and support the development of employees with the range of skills and knowledge demanded by the local electronics industries. We work closely with local employers to facilitate visits to nearby industries, to support particular modules within the course.
This course is an effective stepping stone to progress to a FdSc in Electronics and Communications.
You will study six modules: Analytical Methods, Electrical & Electronic Principles, Electronics, Advanced CAD Techniques, Introduction to Engineering Software and Engineering Project.
Assessment will be carried out by a mixture of assignments. The Project and CAD modules are 100% coursework.
