Our Sports Connections
The University of Northampton has extensive partnerships with sports facilities across Northampton. Watch premier- league rugby, football, sail or canoe, go snowboarding, unwind in a Turkish hot room, or skydive with your friends.
Benham Sports Arena
Located next to the University’s Park Campus is Benham Sports Arena, which includes King’s Park Tennis Centre and Benham Rock. Many facilities are accessible to wheelchair users and special needs groups.
Trilogy Sports Partnerships
Fitness-conscious students can use Trilogy’s four gyms, offering Zumba, Judo, swimming, racquetball and disability programmes. Health suites with saunas, steam rooms and Turkish hot rooms allow you to unwind at the end of a workout. Events include cinema and comedy nights.
The SnoZone at Xscape
Students of all ages and abilities can ski, snowboard, sledge and take lessons from experts on real snow 364 days a year at the SnoZone in Milton Keynes. You’re also entitled to discounted activities on Student Wednesdays.
Airkix Indoor Skydiving
Adrenaline-seeking students can skydive in the Milton Keynes Xscape with a University of Northampton discount. Nearly anyone can fly: a friendly, trained instructor is with you at all times. You can fly solo, as a couple, or with a group of friends for a memorable experience or as a new hobby.

The University of Northampton is proud to be the Official Club Sponsor of Northampton Town Football Club, Elite Sponsor of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and the Elite Sponsor of Northampton Saints Rugby Football Club.
These partnerships offer University of Northampton students a range of unique opportunities within sports physiotherapy, sports management, events management and marketing/ communications. In addition they offer our students a range of internships, industry insight opportunities, volunteering and paid work across a range of areas including media, media production, events management, marketing, sports and health.
The collaborations are part of our on-going work with local partners, to enhance the economic, social, cultural and creative life of Northampton and the region.
