Working alongside the University’s Centre for Employability and Engagement (UCEE), we deliver a sophisticated online tool that provides both students and alumni with an opportunity to connect and communicate with each other as both mentor and mentee. The Alumni E-Mentoring Scheme offers a platform for current students to connect with University of Northampton graduates who offer a number of mentoring services including CV advice, professional and academic guidance, work shadowing and internships and also the possibility of a job at the end of your studies.
The system is simple to use and is invaluable to those who use it. As a Geography BSc (Hons) student, Thomas Fojut was mentored by an alumnus working in town planning and commented: “I feel that the experience has benefited me, because I now think it is the field of work I would like to be involved in as a career.” Thomas now works as a Graduate Transport Planner.
The University of Northampton is committed to enhancing the student experience and our mentoring success cements our reputation as a leading University for employability.
