Gas Detection 51

New Platform Introduced for LGD Product Line

Axetris AG (Switzerland) is pleased to announce the new F200 Platform 2 for its Laser Gas Detection (LGD) product line. With improved product and software design, the LGD F200P2 opens up further possibilities for Axetris customers, helping them achieve higher detection performance while easing servicing effort.

With the introduction of F200 Platform 2, Axetris has achieved a fl exible product platform that enables easy implementation of your specifi c application requirements. The widely-sold product for ammonia detection LGD F200P2-H NH3 is available to Axetris customers starting May 2016.

as a compact and low cost alternative to the standard 20mm sensors, they are targeted to light industrial and commercial applications such as monitoring underground car parks or residential environments, air quality, ventilation control and fi re detection. The sensors have industry accepted dimensions and pin-out footprint, making the sensors compatible with a variety of commercially available fi xed gas detection systems.

It makes sense to

choose Alphasense. Our infra-red gas sensors keep workers happy and productive.

We could tell you that it’s our patented optics and universal linearization constants that make Alphasense the commonsense choice for infra-red air quality sensors in the workplace, where excessive CO2 levels cause drowsiness and poor performance.

But space is limited, so we’ll just say that our NDIR detectors offer the highest sensitivity, the lowest noise and the sharpest prices available anywhere.

Electrochemical Gas Sensors

Gas detector manufacturers the world over have great appreciation of the direct contact they have with our team. Every year there are more and more who count on our expertise, support and the quality of our sensors.

Personal gas safety monitors can be found in almost every industry, with the requirement for multiple gas detection becoming commonplace. Most of these gas detectors measure both Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Sulphide. A new family of Dual Gas Sensors, from Alphasense (UK), des- ignated 2Sense, enhance their original and highly successful miniature 2 gas sensor, the D2 with the A-Series in 20mm format. These DualSensors with a patented design have an excellent response, offer required performance and save space and cost. Initially two sensors are available but further combinations will be added in due course; CO / H2S - the COH-A2 builds on 10 years of experience with Alphasense’s original D2 sensor; SO2 / H2S - the SOH-A2 measures the two critical sulphur gases together within one sensor body. And coming soon the NO2 / O3 - the NOO-A2 determines the two important oxidising gases for Air Quality Monitor- ing. The Technical Data Sheet is available on the newly updated Alphasense website.
