Win On Waste Is Growing


I am delighted to say that each month we are getting more and more people donating items at our Win on Waste station. This takes place at Broadstone Library on the first Saturday of the month (the next dates are 1st April and 6th May), from 10-11am.


Items go to local voluntary groups and charities, so you are not only reducing waste in your refuse or recycling bin, but also helping charities including Forest Holme, Gift of Sight and WWF.


For the next couple of months, we would like to receive:


• Milk bottle tops (all colours) • Biscuit wrappers


• Cleaning bottle triggers and washing up bottle lids • Tassimo discs


• Jigsaw puzzles (with missing bits) • Used stamps


• Birthday wrapping paper


I am still looking for a volunteer to help me run the stall, so if you can spare one hour once a month I would love to hear from you. Thanks to everyone who has supported us so far!
