ROH LIVE - SLEEPING BEAUTY Tues 28 Feb @ 7pm A perennial delight and much-loved classic, The Royal Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty combines the best classical ballet, with all its charms and virtuosity, splendid music and talented dancers. The Sleeping Beauty has wonderful ensembles, solos and of course the concluding celebratory dances for the happy union of prince and princess.


NT LIVE - AMADEUS Thurs 02 Feb @ 7pm Salieri in Peter Shaffer’s iconic play, broadcast live from the National Theatre and with live orchestral accompaniment by Southbank Sinfonia. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a rowdy young prodigy, arrives in Vienna, the music capital of the world – and he’s determined to make a splash. Awestruck by his genius, court composer Antonio Salieri has the power to promote his talent or destroy his name. Seized by obsessive jealousy he begins a war with Mozart, with music, and ultimately, with God.

FOLK AT THE FLAVEL Wed 15 Feb @ 7.30pm


Phil Beer is one of the most popular ambassadors for acoustic roots music, so this is an evening not to be missed for all folk fans. A dazzling instrumentalist with a rich singing voice, Phil is probably best known for his fiddle playing with the all-star line-up Feast of Fiddles and as one half of Show of Hands. He also plays slide, Spanish and tenor guitar, mandocello, viola, mandolin and South American cuatro. How many of these instruments he will be able to fit into his solo Folk at the Flavel performance remains to be seen!
