Sweet Squared’s philosophy to ‘Serve the Pro with Love & Respect’ influences every aspect of the company and Samantha highlights this as one of the main factors behind its many accomplishments. In order to achieve this on a daily basis, Samantha also notes both hers and Samuel’s passion and drive for what they do. “We live, breathe, sleep and eat it 24/7. We have a great culture and we care about our team; it’s not a ‘me me me’ situation,” explains Samantha. “We have a great mentor with Jim Nordstrom and our background and heritage is through my mum, Gigi Rouse; it’s what we know. When you do things purely for the bottom line it doesn’t work, but when you do it from the heart [it does] because you know it’s going to help someone’s life and make it better.”

As they commence their birthday celebrations, could Samantha have ever imagined the success Sweet Squared has achieved? “I’m a huge law of attraction girl and I believed that we could make it work but I never dreamed that we would be the company that we are today,” she responds. “I think that the fact that we’ve put every ounce of ourselves into it, we have a great team that helped us achieve those goals, and the fact that we’ve been blessed with some truly great brands that we believe in 250% have all helped.

us in 2010 to a different place to where we had been - it was difficult too but that was a very exciting time and it still is!”


2014 - Australian tanning brand MoroccanTan™ ventures over to the UK, with Sweet Squared becoming their exclusive distributor.


Sweet Squared kicked off their 10th anniversary in style with a trip to York races.


Together with a fabulous company party to mark the anniversary, Sweet Squared will be holding a number of promotions to tie in with the ‘10 years’ theme, which has already included offering customers the best priced CND™

So what does the next chapter hold for the Sweet Squared story? “We have quite a few things; the growth of ColorProof™

brand, a hair care line which is a tremendous product and we’re very excited about that as we know we have an absolute winner there. But we know it’s a very saturated market, so we have to bring our ‘Love & Respect’ to the hair industry and we’ll do that with our great team – Gavin, Rich and Adam as well as the S2 team with the help of ColorProof™ in the US.

them and we have Fee Wallace heading up the team over here which is just phenomenal as she’s just a legend at this. We also have Fee’s mum, Fiona Wallace, who has taken on the role of Interim Sales Manager which is working really well, so we have a leader to really help strengthen the Sales team.


“Probably one of the biggest things is our move to new premises so that we’ll all be under one roof which we’re extremely excited about. As far as Samuel and I are concerned, the move is going to be really big, it’s going to be very important and exciting, and we look forward to growing again when that happens.”
