training SEBTA winner announced!
Carlton Beauty & Spa has announced the winner of SEBTA 2016 as Theresa Nelson from Boston College. The award, which included the prestigious SEBTA 2016 trophy, a Carlton Professional Ultraderm machine and a cheque for £500, was presented to Theresa at the Grand Final held in Brighton.
Theresa told GN, “SEBTA 2016 has been an amazing experience. Winning is just a bonus! I have met so many lovely people and the atmosphere has been so friendly. I have just finished college but I’m thinking of becoming a mobile therapist and I’m keen to specialise in facials and massage. Ultimately I would like to teach. SEBTA has been an experience I will never forget. I have learned so much from it.”

Train the trainer
LCN held a ‘Train the Trainer’ meeting at their Head Office Training Centre in Hurstepierpoint, Sussex, recently, which saw LCN SPMU and Microblading trainer, Dani Bauer-Schwed travel over from Germany for the two-day event to update LCN’s trainers’ practical skills with all the very latest techniques in SPMU and Brow Microblading.
The BCI Training Centre is VTCT approved to offer Level 4 Micropigmentation and all courses are accredited by leading industry bodies.
“BCI has been offering SPMU training for over 15 years and our training courses have been recognised by HABIA for some time, but being able to offer a Nationally Recognised Qualification (NRQ) is a new challenge that we are looking forward to,” says Brenda Griffin, Director of Training and Business Development.
