Canvas and Cocktails Talley’s Kitchen + Bar • 31 S. Prospect Ave., Clarendon Hills


Gather your friends together for a fun night of painting at Talley’s in Clar- endon Hills. Heather Kostal from No Corner Suns will lead the group in creating your own masterpiece. No experience required - just a desire to create and have a great time. The fee includes a 16” x 20” canvas, instruc- tion, and use of all supplies, including aprons and a piece of art to take home! Refreshments will be available for purchase. This is a cooperative program with the Westmont Park District.


AGE BLACKSMITH PROGRAMS


Our blacksmiths will supply materials and safety equipment. It is suggested that you provide your own gloves and safety glasses for personal fit and comfort, though we will provide standard gloves and safety glasses. You must wear leather shoes and clothing made of natural fibers; long sleeves are suggested.

This class will further develop your skills in the processes of forging to a specific dimension, fullering, punching holes, texturing, scrolling, and drawing a taper in our Blacksmith Shop. Acrylic Painting Westmont Community Center • 75 E. Richmond St., Westmont


Adult Acrylic painting will focus on color theory, usable paint skills and the basics of painting from life. In this 4-week course artists will explore light and shade using various color palettes and paint still life objects. This is a cooperative program with the Westmont Park District.

Introduction To Improv Lisle Recreation Center • 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle


With direction and coaching from an experienced comedian, students will learn the basics of improvisation and performance. Along the way, partici- pants will not only gain valuable tools for everyday life such as team building, confidence in social situations and the ability to think quickly and creatively but will also enjoy plenty of laughs and new friendships throughout.
