Sing, dance and play; make it a musical day! Your tot will move to the beat while using rhythm instruments like hand bells, tambourines, and maracas. Coordination and motor skills will improve with movement props such as scarves, ribbons, and parachute play. Tot Rock is a structured program with educational, sensory and socialization components. An exciting new theme is presented each session. Children have been enjoying Tot Rock for over 21 years. Have some fun today! This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.

Each class provides developmentally appropriate musical activities designed to stimulate your child’s imagination, musicality, and improve their increasing vocabulary. We’ll sing songs and use many instruments, drums, shakers, bells, stick horses, scarves, rhythm sticks, and hoops to build your child’s confidence, independence, self-expression and gross motor coordination. Experience the joy with your child! Every session is filled with new songs and new activities. This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.

Music Time Lisle Recreation Center • 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle
This fun-filled class is designed to nurture the growing independence of the 2 1
/2 - 5 year olds. Activities will include singing, chants and rhymes,
listening activities, group dancing, instrument playing, as well as litera- ture and stories creatively brought to life on xylophones and percussion instruments. Through many different activities children will be introduced to musical concepts such as tempo, dynamics, and steady beat. Special attention will also be given to the development of the child’s singing voice. This 40-minute class teaches musical concepts through songs, stories, movement, instrumentation, and drama, all hands on and centered on concepts of nature - an area of great interest to this age group! This is a cooperative program with the Woodridge Park District.
