Autumn Expo was the best event yet

The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Autumn Expo proved to be a huge success – with around 850 people flocking to the event at the Barclaycard Arena. The Expo - sponsored by Qatar Airways and hosted by Amplify – was the Chamber’s biggest to

date, with more than 80 exhibitors spread across three floors of the famous arena on the edge of Birmingham city centre. Seminars from guest speakers Rob Slater of HS2, WowZone’s Qasim Majid and business mentor

Moe Nawaz proved extremely popular with delegates. Forty delegates also had the opportunity to take part in a quick-fire Speed Networking session in

the arena’s Vista Rooms. And there were some fantastic prize giveaways too. Joanna Oldfield from the Children’s Liver Disease

Foundation won a pair of return flight tickets courtesy of headline sponsor Qatar Airways, while DHL’s Andrew Dewey bagged two tickets to the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour thanks to Amplify. Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce chief executive Paul Faulkner said: “The 2016 Autumn

Expo was our biggest and best yet, with around 850 registered attendees. “It was great to see so many businesses taking part. We were also thrilled to have sponsors Qatar

Airways and hosts Amplify on board and we thank them for their fantastic support. “Well done too to our events team at Greater Birmingham Chambers for their hard work behind the

scenes to deliver a fantastic event. “We look forward to building on this success at the next Expo in March 2017.”
