his summer, British Waterways Marina Ltd (BWML) will be presenting a series
of ‘Buying a Boat’ talks at its Sawley Marina headquarters, near Nottingham. The talks will be free of charge
to attend, aimed at complete novices, and will explain the enjoyment of boating, the pros and cons of the different types of boat, including limits of navigation and the costs involved with purchasing and running a boat. Boating on our inland

popular, but expert advice is vitally important so that prospective boat owners can gain all of the information they need to make an informed decision. As one of the country’s biggest
