Using the freshest of ingredients, Dave provides tasty samples and corresponding recipes demonstrating the easy use of local and seasonal foods. NEW! Bahá’í House of Worship Trip (18+ years) The Bahá’í House of Worship, located in Wilmette, is the oldest surviving Bahá’í House of Worship in the world, and the only one in the United States. The temple was built and maintained by voluntary contributions from members of the Bahá’í Faith and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It has become a popular destination for tourists and it is truly a masterpiece! After a docent-led tour of the temple, we’ll stroll the peaceful gardens and enjoy the beauty of the day followed by lunch at a local eatery.
