Youth Volleyball House League (3-8 years) Bump, set and spike your way into this exciting new volleyball league which is designed to be developmental and recreational. The first two weeks will involve assisting boys and girls with their skills and knowledge of passing, serving, defense, setting, blocking, hitting and other volleyball fundamentals. Through positive coaching and practice time, players will hone these skills as well as work on technique, set location, play sets, footwork and overall knowledge of the game. The remaining five weeks will involve game play with short practices before each game. Balanced teams with a variety of skills and ages will be assembled. Our league is designed so that all athletes have a chance to play and learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. Participants are not required to have previous volleyball skills, just a desire to participate and have fun. SportsKids Inc. coaches will referee games in a teaching style.
