Pre-Karate (4-7 years) In our Pre-Karate Safety classes, young children develop flexibility, strength, and coordination in fun, yet disciplined activities. This program is specifically designed for growing minds and bodies to enhance memory and agility. Watch your child’s confidence blossom and their skills improve.

Karate and Pre-Karate Classes are held at: Prairie Lakes Community Center (PLCC), 515 E. Thacker, Des Plaines., Central Community Center (CCC), 1000 West Central Rd., Mt. Prospect; or Al Hatendorf Center (AHC), 225 E. Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, Community Rec. Center (CRC), 333 W. Dundee Rd., Wheeling, or Weiss Community Center (WCC), 1500 Euclid Ave., Mt. Prospect.

Youth Karate (7-14 years) With a good mix of strength training, cardiovascular and flexibility exercises, children increase their coordination, agility and poise, as well as learn lasting personal safety skills. Learn choreo- graphed moves of the kata and the discipline of conforming to class rules.
Parent/Child (7+ years)
Spend quality time with your child, while conditioning muscles, developing coordination, and improving cardiovascular fitness.
Adult Karate (15+ years) Adult classes release tension, develop total body fitness, build stamina and overall productivity! In addition to self-defense skills, karate increases flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and muscle tone.
