Modern Dance Dancers will learn fundamental Graham principles including contraction, release, spirals and experiment with weight, gravity and dynamic. Students should wear a leotard and footless tights and will dance barefoot. Performance Workshop Dancers will learn about performance quality in a variety of different situations including auditioning, performing live choreography and performing on film. Students will train and refine performance skills to help them adapt and adjust to the needs of specific dance genres and choreographers. Students will also create dances as a vehicle to experiment with perfor- mance quality. Tuition includes a $20 performance supplies fee. The class will culminate in an in-studio performance at the end of the term. To enroll, dancers must have one year of previous technical experience and must also have a concurrent ballet and/or jazz registration in Intermediate 1 level or above. Day Date
