Foundation
Established in 1997, the Mt. Prospect Parks Foundation is a charitable organization governed by an independent voluntary board. Its purpose is to enhance the quality of parks, facilities and recreation opportunities of the Park District by raising funds through tax-deductible donations. The Foundation assists residents in purchasing a memorial brick at the Veteran’s Memorial at Lions Park as well as provides funding for the annual Scholarship Awards presented each Spring. In 2015,the Foundation provided funds to redecorate the banquet facility at the beautiful Friendship Park Conservatory. The Board welcomes new members. For more information on how to get involved, please contact: Ruth Yueill, Foundation Executive Director at 847-255-5380.
