entrepreneurs – now the company is helping out a mental health charity. The store, based in the new Grand Central shopping centre, is to sell an exclusive range of cushions based on the artwork of Jason Clarke, who is a client of the BITA Pathways charity. The cushions are being made by BITA’s soft furnishing social enterprise, Textiles by St Anne’s. The association between John Lewis and BITA

manage his symptoms. After a pitch to John Lewis in London by Helen and Pat, it was agreed to stock the cushions. Jason Clarke’s cushions

A friend for Buddy
Bag Foundation A Birmingham-based accountancy firm has joined forces with a local charity to help young victims of domestic abuse rebuild their lives. The Hagley Road office of accountancy firm
Morgan Reach is working with the Buddy Bag Foundation to help the rising number of children entering emergency care following incidents of domestic violence and abuse. Morgan Reach head of strategy Zeeshan Masood, said the accountancy firm aimed to provide financial advice as well as fund-raising support to the Birmingham charity. He said: “Thousands of kids across the
country are victims of domestic abuse – we are aiming to help the charity manage their accounts as well as getting far more involved with fund-raising.” The Buddy Bag Foundation, formerly the Live
Love Laugh Foundation, was established in January 2015, providing youngsters with essentials in Buddy Bags such as socks, pyjamas and other comforting items. The charity is based in Sutton Coldfield but operates on a nationwide basis.
