NANCARROW FARM
Nancarrow Farm near Truro has been a working farm since 1805. Four of the nine generations that have worked the farm over the years still live there to this day. The oldest, Gordon, turns 90 later this year, and the youngest, Joseph, was born on 21st July last year. The farm was converted to organic in 1999 and primarily produces beef and lamb. However, in 2011, Lucy Chamber- lain returned home to Nancarrow with her husband Steve and baby Samuel to help secure its future. 2013 was spent converting three barns and relocating the farmyard to create a stunning wedding venue that has been fully booked since April 2014. Nancarrow Farm Kitchen has been feeding family, friends and farm work- ers for generations, but now the newly renovated professional kitchen is open to the public for ‘feast’ nights. So far there have been six sell-out Nancarrow Feasts, with the next planned for 19th March. Food is cooked by ex-Fifteen Cornwall chef Ben Quinn and served on long tables in a beautifully decorated space.

Built in 1904 with the original intention of serving as a railway terminus hotel, the Watergate Bay that stands today is somewhat different.
