Orihuela Costa Ma l e Vo i c e Choir: On 25th April the choir will be hosting two joint concerts at La Zenia Church with the ladies of the Chivenor Branch of the Military Wives Choir, made famous by Gareth Malone on the BBC. In the spring, OCMVC will tour Abrir. They will also be hosting joint concerts with the Costa Blanca Male Voice Choir in June. Phoenix Dancers: The dancers are now rehearsing t h e i r n e x t s h ow f o r the children of Emaús. Confirmation date will be announced next month. In the meantime, they are always on the lookout for new dancers and singers, so if this is you, get in touch

Rojales Pantomime Group: Although their recent pantomime had a few blunders, the audience loved it and went home smiling. Saturday saw loads of kids, English and Spanish alike, all enjoying the usual screams and shouts that make a traditional family pantomime. Rascals: Both Sides of the Pond is in rehearsal. The product ion is split between song, dance and comedy from America and the continent. Check out

Smile Charity group: present A Night of Live Rock ‘n’ Roll, with Woody and the Peckers, at Restaurante El Al t o La Do l o r e s , Guardamar, Friday the 27th February. Tickets 10€ include a two course meal and show available from the Restaurant and ‘The Post Room Benijófar’, or call: 966 712 382. The evening will be raising funds for ‘The Benijófar Crisis Appeal’. Stagestruck: Presentation made to San Fulgencio school and theatre for 800€ to set up a Tannoy system for the back stage dressing rooms. The Chaplaincy Players: The Players latest production Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door, a comedy by Andrew Rea, will be staged at The Cardinal Belluga Theatre, San Fulgencio on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st March at 7.30pm.
