I am going to blow my own trumpet a bit this month, well the trumpet of Female Focus Publications. We are very proud to have such a highly respected reputation, both in the business world and in the community. We are a totally legal company, which includes everyone who works for us, including representatives and even the delivery guys who work one day a month. We have a policy of, if you haven’t got anything nice to say don’t say anything at all - this gives our publications a positive feel to them without the negativity you fi nd with some advertising campaigns. We have a fantastic retention rate of advertisers across our four magazines and that means one thing - we are doing it right. Some advertisers have been with us since day one, over 21 years ago. It’s great to hear how many of you tell them you saw their advert in Female Focus, thank you. This month whilst on my travels I have been really pleased to hear the responses from some of our advertisers and readers who are telling us just that. Instead of old news they enjoy the fact that we have pages packed with interesting, informative articles and forthcoming events. Nowadays everything is so immediate with social media etc that to print old news you have already heard somewhere else makes no sense. We will stick to our winning formula and if anybody has any suggestions or ideas for things they would like to see in the magazines we are always happy to hear your thoughts.
