Dunblane Centre FITNESS!
It’s getting to that time of year again when we’re getting ready to squeeze into those Christmas party dresses. To help you get there we have some fantastic fi tness classes to help you shape and tone your body in a healthy and fun way. The Centre has some great instructors and we really do have something for everyone. Check out our timetable on our website or pick one up from the Centre.
Here’s some of what we have on off er:
BodyPump The original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. BODYPUMP™ is designed to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories.
Be Active: A gentle-moderate aerobics classes that involves light weights & dance moves to help improve your co-ordination, mobility and weight loss.
Pilates:
A mind & body technique that begins from a central core of stability. It works by adjusting the intensity using diff erent limb movements and equipment. Suitable for clients with a higher level of fi tness or clients with various injuries alike.
Tone it up: A combination of a traditional aerobics class and resistance exercises with the use of bars and hand weights. This class targets the whole body and has the cross training eff ect of increasing fi tness, strength and toning.
Step:
Join in the fun with this energetic class for all fi tness levels. Using a height-adjustable step and simple movements on, over and around it you’ll get huge motivation from powerful music and dynamic instruction. You’ll burn stacks of calories and strengthen and shape your muscles – a full body workout guaranteed!
Metafi t:
Metafi t is the 30 minute TOTAL BODY workout that sets the metabolism on fi re!! A combination of bodyweight only training and high intensity intervals that will send your metabolic rate through the roof. Result?... Burn fat in your sleep!!
Circuits: Insanity:
NEW! Designed to improve strength and aerobic fi tness. This class uses a variety of bodyweight and resistance based exercises in order to target diff erent areas of the body
NEW! The cardio-based, total-body conditioning programme and is based on ‘max interval training. Its based on lengthier periods of high intensity exercise with shorter cool downs. Insanity classes target the entire body, beginning with an accelerated warmup and moving into three intense blocks of work, each one targeting a diff erent element of fi tness.
