ntarya was commissioned to create a characterful, contemporary interior scheme for a duplex apartment in London’s Hyde Park Apartments.

The space has a subtle, mid-century influence, where the lighting, furniture and fabrics reveal a vintage aesthetic, resulting in a striking and glamorous interior.

Bespoke joinery is used throughout, providing ample storage and display, as well as concealing television and AV equipment.

High gloss lacquers, specialist gloss veneers, inlaid fabric panels and jewel-like ironmongery demonstrate the quality of craftsmanship.

Sumptuous fabric walling contributes to the richness and diversity of the design. Soft wools were used alongside subtly metallic grass cloths and textured silks in striking teal and soft gold.

A guest bedroom scheme was created around a bespoke fabric used to wrap the wardrobe doors, transforming and giving visual interest to practical storage. The two-tone blues of the fabric inform the overall scheme.

The use of over-scaled, abstract artwork creates instant impact with many pieces commissioned as the key feature of rooms. In the dining area, substantial brushstrokes across a vast canvas create a bold, contemporary piece whilst the bubble graphic series in a guest bedroom determines the retro feel and sets the tone for the youthful, brave scheme.
