to talk - it was very embarrassing, because the next day they kept playing my little interview all day. I had a lovely lady give me a bottle of champagne at the end to say thank you for the hospitality, which made me cry again, and I’d made a cake to celebrate with at the end, which got demolished. Finally, after everyone had left, Roy and Shirley Erskine came by to say thank you for all the work we had done and how amazing the place looked on the television. I can quite honestly say that day was the most special to me and makes me very emotional (even typing this now) :)

If you have a fond memory of the Centre we’d love to hear from you. Send your pictures and memories to gemma@dunblanecentre.co.uk

Update from Andy, Youth Worker: Well our Easter Programme has fl own by! I hope that you’re all back into routine now if you’ve had a short break, fi lled with loads of chocolate I’m sure! We had a wide variety of activities on over the Easter holiday – from a trip to M&D’s, to making your own chocolate Easter Egg. You can see photos of what we got up to on our Facebook page.

Looking forward, many of our 10th Anniversary Big Youthie events are approaching fast. We’re hosting several activity days across 2014 so keep an eye out for the following: Summer Beach BBQ (S1-6), It’s A Knockout, Live Music Evening, LEGO, and a Talent Show run in association with the Dunblane Fling!

If you have any talents, (and we mean ANY talents!), and would like to compete in the Dunblane Talent Show then please email me: andrew@ dunblanecentre.co.uk. This wonderful competition will be held on Sunday 25th May, 4pm. Tickets will cost £5 on the door and will include a hot dog :)

We’re now in the planning stages of our Summer Programme (Mon 14th July – Fri 1st August) and we’d love to hear your suggestions if you have an idea for an activity. Maybe it’s something you were upset to not see in our Easter Programme, or maybe it’s something you’ve done at home but you think others will enjoy it too! Phone, email, Facebook or Tweet us your suggestions!

As always, keep up to date with all the Dunblane Centre Youth related information on our Facebook and Twitter pages: (/Dunblaneyouthie or @DunblaneCentre) Hope to see you soon, Andy!
