n today’s fast paced world where time is precious and we are used to many things now being ‘on demand’, increasingly, the concept of a straightforward and relatively hassle free one-piece pool is one which is hard to ignore. And the benefits are clear for all to see. Reduced build times mean less interruption. Pre-installed components means less hassle and products produced under factory conditions means quality time after time and the ability to offer long warranties that give peace of mind all round. With new technologies and manufacturing processes now providing more choice than ever before, it’s a sector of the market that seems set to grow in 2014.

KNIGHTSBRIDGE COMES TO CERTIKIN

New for 2014 and supplied by Certikin, the Knightsbridge one-piece tiled pool is as exclusive as its name would suggest. Manufactured in Great Britain, it features a pre-fabricated fibreglass shell with Part L compliant foam insulation and comes with any 20 – 100mm fully mosaic tiled finish. A

stainless steel perimeter reinforcement gives a super-robust, lifetime structure. It also caters for all tastes as skimmer, deck level and cascading pools in 30 different models are available. The Knightsbridge comes fully plumbed and air / water tested with certification prior to dispatch. Its high specification includes LED white or colour changing lights; chrome or stainless steel fittings; optional extras include jets, counter-current, waterfalls and a variety of automatic slatted pool cover designs. A mosaic tiled Vitality Spa can also be integrated into the pool.

The advantages of a pre-fabricated pool versus a concrete or gunite option are: • Fully manufactured off site in strict factory conditions which ensures sustained quality from start to finish

• Fully Part L compliant prior to arriving on site

• All fittings accessible after install, removing ground movement issues with penetration fittings and pipe work

• Millimetre perfect mosaic tiling installed in strict, controlled factory conditions

• Versatility in manufacture allowing opportunities for clients to stand in their pool prior to tiling and or plumbing

• Air / water tested prior to dispatch ensuring an unquestionable watertight construction

• Installation of pool shell complete in one day removing the pool from critical construction path.

The Knightsbridge one-piece tiled pool carries a 15 year shell integrity warranty; two year warranty for the mosaic tiling and one year for the shell fittings
