SHOW REVIEW
Designworks Tiles enjoyed a constant

60x60cm slip resistant tiles and custom grill pieces that can be colour keyed to coordinate with any pool side tile. Visitors to the stand were delighted by the tropical themed mosaic mural, the striking and LED lit mosaic wall and the custom made Cabana bar. A professional mixologist was on hand to create delicious cocktails and ensure a true party atmosphere, with visitors queuing 20 deep at times to get a closer look and sample the refreshments. Speaking after the show, the company reported excellent results and feedback with Dave Foster, Contract Sales Manager for Designworks Tiles saying: “We were delighted with how the show went for us this year, with a constant stream of visitors who loved the vibrancy and fun of our stand. We wanted to make a splash, and certainly feel that we did so, making lots of important new contacts over the course of the show. Watch out for us at SPATEX 2015.” With a massive product range to choose from, Golden Coast had to think very carefully about what to display at SPATEX. This year, the company brought together a selection of new, high quality innovations – across two stands.

connection with water quality. Golden Coast’s selection of high quality innovations also included automatic chemical dosing systems from Etatron. Designed to make water quality control simple and cost- effective for domestic pool owners. Lighting solutions were also prominent on the Golden Coast stand with show visitors seeing a stunning example of EVA Optic’s innovative, ambient lighting solutions plus the Spectravision range being put into the spotlight.

control panels and Dura and Dura+ heat pumps were also on display along with an offering of Tylö saunas and Sundance Spas. Speaking about how the company found the show, Jamie Adams said: “Getting there and setting up was very easy and through to the Show opening its doors, there was a real buzz of anticipation from all the exhibitors. Our stand was generally very busy and even swamped on a number of occasions.” Exhibitors from abroad were also in force at
SPATEX including hot tub company Sunspa, wellness company Alpha Industries and Passion Spas who shared a stand with Almost Heaven Saunas, a USA based manufacturer of high quality Barrel Sauna Kits. At the show the company featured several saunas and introduced a new, multi-room deluxe Barrel Sauna, which is an industry first. The two room Grandview XL is a 10’ long (3.2 metre) sauna that combines a sauna room with changing room in one unit. With so many companies at the exhibition,
it’s impossible to include all the feedback and yes, there are a few tweaks that need to be made but the general consensus was for the inaugural event is that it was a great show with regular exhibitors all keen to return in 2015. For SPN, as show regulars, we are happy to say that it was our best SPATEX ever and we felt the long overdue move away from Brighton was a success.
