UK Pool & Spa Expo Builds On Launch Event


TAKING PLACE JUST TWO WEEKS AFTER SPATEX, WE REPORT ON THE SECOND YEAR OF THE UK POOL & SPA EXPO HELD AT THE NEC AND LOOK AT HOW IT HAS BUILT ON ITS SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH IN 2013

he second offering of the UK Pool & Spa Expo opened its doors at 10am in Pavillion Hall 1 at the NEC on Thursday 20 February and the new venue instantly gave the wet leisure industry and consumer event a much more professional and complete feel. SPN were exhibiting for the first time at the show and a lot more exhibitors from both the UK and overseas had opted to


take part in this year’s exhibition. A number of these companies were exhibiting for the first time at a UK wet leisure show which made for an interesting range of products to see. Walking around the hall, it was also apparent that many had put a lot of effort into their stands and were hoping for a busy three days despite SPATEX having been held in Coventry just two weeks prior to the event.


Speaking at the show, Claire Saunders, Director of the exhibition said: “We are thrilled to have such enthusiastic exhibitors, the efforts that they have gone to really make the show what it is. A huge credit to the show is due to the effort and innovation displayed by our exhibitors in their stand builds.
