Scottish Swimming has launched a new website which has been designed to be a one-stop-shop for swimming in Scotland. The main navigation guides visitors into the six key areas of the site: Participate, Compete, Members, Aquatic Providers, News & Events and Live Hub. On the bottom of each page, visitors can simply enter a postcode and find out which events happen near to them, which pool is closest and which club is in their area, then plan a journey with Google Maps. Users can stay in touch with the latest social media chat, see the latest events and watch the latest videos, all in one handy page. Not to be outdone by BISHTA, the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) also have a new website which has been designed to promote swimming pool ownership to UK consumers. The easy to use site provides advice, tips and useful information on a variety of swimming pool related topics and has a comprehensive download library of PDF factsheets that covers everything a consumer would need to know about owning and maintaining a swimming pool. Visitors can also search for retailers and pool builders across the country which are members of the association.
