Dartmouth Food Festival October 25th -27th 2013 Better than All the Rest:

We’re as excited as ever about this year’s Festival and once again our enthusiasm has got the better of us ….

• A whole new area of marqueed exhibition space will appear right in the centre of Dartmouth increasing the number of exhibitors to well over 100 including many new businesses to the Festival which you won’t have come across before.

• A new venue, Dartmouth Yacht Club, will house a brand new ‘Eat Your Words’ Book Festival featuring over 20 well known food writers and journalists in a series of short conversations about every aspect of food.

• Our new competition, Signature Dish, will allow home cooks a chance of glory as we judge who makes the best chutney, pasty and cake.

A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE FESTIVAL:

Dartmouth Food Festival is now a very big beast and planning starts in the depths of winter. It is run on a purely voluntary basis and the core group couldn’t put on the Festival without the huge support from our sponsors, patrons, volunteers and media partners. We are as ever very grateful. It is our very hardworking secretary Val’s last year on the committee and she will be sorely missed by all of us – if you see her over the Festival weekend, please thank her for all her hard work.
