SILVER SUCCESS The Special Olympics GB National

Games was held in Bath from 28th August – 1st

September 2013 with

over 1,700 athletes competing in 12 sports. This included none oth- er than Kingswear resident Oscar Jones (12) who competed in the Artistic Gymnastics section along with 2 other members from the South Devon School of Gymnastics in Paignton. He returned home with one very shiny silver medal and a very big smile. Big thanks go to the team coaches and Kingswear Combined Charities for supporting his attendance at the event. Here he is with coach Rosemary Johns and fellow South Devon athlete, Kate Walmsley.•
