• 12th to 16th August Radio Rainbow, Dunblane Holiday Club for Primary School Children supported by churches in Dunblane - , 10 - 12 at the Cathedral Halls. Registration forms will be available in the schools, churches, library and at www.radiorainbow.org from early June.


• 30th August Callander & West Perthshire U3A, Enrolment for current and new members at Callander Youth Project. AGM at 2.00pm, Enrolment for 2013/14 at 3.00pm





Saturday 31st August, St Mary’s Church Summer Fete, 2-4 p.m. Attractions will include: afternoon tea, home baking, ice cream, plants, herbs, garden produce, crafts and gifts, books, toys and bric a brac stalls, Coconut shy, Tin can alley, Hoopla, Lucky Dip, Treasure Hunt, Face Painting, Flower Arranging Competitions for adults and children and much more to raise money for Scottish and international charities and for the church.





Saturday, 7th September, VINTAGE FAIR being held on 10.30 - 3.30 in the Rural Hall, Doune.


Free entry. Soup and sandwiches and refreshments available. All welcome.

St Blane’s Drama group AGM on Tuesday August 20th in the Church Hall. New members welcome. They celebrate 35 years of Pantomimes, farces (intended and unintended), comedies and thrillers. This includes performances ranging from Christmas Carol to Agatha Christie and Cinderella. Attaining a level of competence in the performing arts can make a important contribution to a person’s development in their professional careers. Membership is free and open to all residents of the Dunblane and Stirling District aged 16 to 90.


They are supported by a skilled team of scenery builders, sound specialists, scenery painters and costume makers so new members, whatever your interests are from acting through to scene building, we can find a place for you and you will be made very welcome. The group is a member of the Scottish Community Drama Association which is a registered charity supporting amateur drama throughout the in Scotland.
